The city that never sleeps has officially woken up from its much-needed power nap.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with self-proclaimed review queens, Maeghan Radice and Audrey Jongens, of the VIP List.
Due to their quick-witted, honest restaurant and nightclub reviews, these Tik Tok influencers have amassed a following of over 339k in mere months.
Keep reading for the most elite party spots in NYC, according to the single source for all things VIP.
Somewhere Nowhere
Somewhere Nowhere is THE place to party in NYC right now. Located in the heart of Chelsea, this two-story venue is home to the highest rooftop in all of Manhattan. If you’re down to “darty”—all the cool kids are doing it—head to the rooftop complete with day beds, delicious appetizers, and VIP bottle service. No matter how exhausted you are from the day, we strongly encourage you to rally for the night. Located on the bottom floor, Somewhere Nowhere’s nightclub has an enchanted forest aesthetic and A-List DJs.
Butter
Butter is one of the most exclusive parties in New York. Run by the former owners of 1Oak, this Midtown nightclub is filled with 1Oak regulars and socialities. Unless you’re Blair Waldorf, you can only get into this club with a table or a connection to the elite and fabulous. Rumor has it Cindy Lauper’s son goes to Butter, so grab your girls and have some fun.
Little Sister
Like Tao, but better. Little Sister is an intimate nightclub concept with lounge vibes and great music. The venue is on the smaller side, but the exclusive crowd makes up for it. This VIP spot has a pretty strict door, but if you’re lucky enough to go in, you’re guaranteed to have one of the best nights New York City has to offer.
Paul’s Casablanca
Paul’s Casablanca is definitely a place to see and be seen. Paul’s has a notoriously hard door, with a star-studded line usually wrapped around the block. This chic cocktail lounge is a hub for models and creatives, so make sure you reserve your spot. The Morocco-inspired decor sets the tone for drinking and dancing all night (and morning) long.
NOIR
Nights at NOIR are always a great time. Famous for their iconic bottle parades, the staff at Noir puts on an elaborate show each time someone orders a bottle—which is approximately every 5 minutes. This 1920’s-inspired space hosts an incredible brunch party on the weekends with delicious avocado toast and steak and eggs.
Socialista
The name of this exclusive lounge speaks for itself. With many locations across the world, the New York venue is a staple for Manhattan’s elite. The gorgeous architect is inspired by Cuba, which instantly transports you to the Havana dancing scene for the night. Owned by the luxurious Cipriani enterprise, Socialista is a great place to spend your Friday night. If you're lucky, you can schmooze with Zendaya over a Dirty Gin Martini.
Make Believe
This Lower East Side rooftop is (Instagram) famous for its all-pink aesthetic. This ultra-trendy spot is perfect for mimosas during the day or pounding tequila shots at night. Celebrated for their great music selection, Make Believe offers some of the hottest entertainment in all of New York City.
Acme
Famed for being featured in popular millennial dating podcast, We Met At Acme, this ionic NoHo spot is the perfect place to meet somebody special. By day, Acme is a great French and Italian Bistro, and by night, it’s the chicest bar with an exclusive, investment-banking heavy crowd. If wanting to meet an Incoming Financial Analyst who wears Common Projects is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Jimmy SoHo
The Jimmy is a great spot for a poolside cocktail with the girls or a late-night drink with the man of your dreams. Located at the top of Modernhaus in Soho, The Jimmy has some of the best rooftop views in all of the city. They have extensive indoor and outdoor seating, so whether it’s 80 degrees in July or 30 degrees in the dead of winter, The Jimmy always has your back.
Kind Regards
Serena Kerrigan had her birthday party here, so I want to have my birthday party here. The disco ball is probably one of the most photographed aesthetics in New York nightlife. Some say being basic is boring, but there is nothing boring about the popping, retro-inspired atmosphere at Kind Regards. Slip the bouncer a 20, and try to cut the three-hour waitlist for the secret nightclub downstairs.
