Visionnaire Adds an Abstract Line of Glassware to Its Growing Accessories Collection

By Stephanie Bongiorno By Stephanie Bongiorno | July 2, 2019 | Home & Real Estate,

Visionnaire, the luxe Italian home and furnishings brand, unveiled its latest collection of accessories, Fauna and Metamorfosi, a blown glassware line designed by Sara Ricciardi, in Milan last week.

Fauna

The blown glass parts of Fauna, supplied by Venini, stand out for their particular workmanship. The pieces of Metamorfosi, on the other hand, are one-of-a-kind items: five original vases featuring blown glass crafted by hand and blocks of cotisso glass, which Ricciardi attempts to capture in two material forms.

“As in the metamorphosis of a chrysalis, I wanted to represent a material evolution,” said the designer.

The Fauna and Metamorfosi collections are a component of Visionnaire’s larger line of accessories, which can be viewed online via luisaviaroma.com or via wallpaper.com.

The series has a total of eight items—each make a grander statement than the next.

Artists and designers such as Stories of Italy, Gumdesign, Fausto Salvi, Marta Giardini, Claire Frechet, Ivan Bag, Olivia Walker, Sara Ricciardi, Zanellato/Bortotto and Inderjeet Sandhu, also have collaborations with Visionnaire.
