Monthly digital membership club Vivrelle gives users a chance to borrow an array of designer handbags, jewelry items and accessories, but now the fun moves offline.
Vivrelle is set to open an exclusive showroom and social club in NYC’s NoMad neighborhood. Designed by famed interior designer Hilary Matt, the 14,000-square-foot space allows members to mingle, relax and shop the many luxury pieces Vivrelle has to offer in person, from classic Chanel bags to Hermès bracelets.
“Our goal was to create an even more enjoyable experience for our community,” says company co-founder Blake Geffen. “This showroom not only acts as an extension of our members’ closets, but offers them a place to spend their time, whether it be relaxing and socializing with friends and other members, a coffee break between meetings or a temporary place of retreat.”
With Vivrelle’s tiered system, members can borrow a new handbag or accessory each month and keep it for as long as they want or switch it out. In this way, customers can spruce up their closets without paying the heavy price tag for new designer goods.
The immersive showroom is designed in neutral colors with pops of pink to allow for a modern yet warm environment. The center bar offers coffee, tea, wine and cocktails to sip while you shop, and the space has internet throughout the lounge to relax and get some work done.
The focal point of the showroom is still, of course, the multitude of designer bags. Colorful Dior totes, trendy Bottega minibags and more line the walls and windows, allowing guests to feel and see the different items at their disposal.
The space will play host to many different programs ranging from workout classes with celebrity trainers, to events with partner brands including Sakara and Daily Harvest.
The company is also taking the online shopping experience to a whole new level, with membership prices that range from $39 to $279 a month. You can participate in Vivrelle whether or not you’re in NYC via the official website and Apple mobile app. Peruse the selection and have borrowed items shipped right to your door.
