In celebration of National Oyster Day, diners can dive into the Raw Bar, which highlights selections from the East and West coasts. Depending on your palette, you can choose from the East coast Island Creek oysters (half a dozen $14, 1 dozen $26, 2 dozen $45), or West Coast Kumamoto oysters (one $4, half dozen $24, 1 dozen $45). To complement these favors, guests can indulge in Soju cocktails, a low ABV, authentic Korean liquor.

The Clam, a West Village neighborhood locale by Executive Chef and co-owner Mike Price and Joey Campanaro, celebrates seasonal market-driven ingredients. This cozy, clam and oyster-focused seafood restaurant showcases and sources the best seafood from the Eastern and Western seaboards. Unsurprisingly, the raw bar at The Clam is an absolute must. The shooters consist of fresh local oysters, Deep Eddy Vodka, and Crabby Jerry’s special spicy blood Mary mix. This seafood joint’s menu also features raw and chilled dozen or half dozen North Fork oysters served with tangy mignonette. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the decadent Oyster Rockefeller loaded with spinach, garlic, and asiago cheese. There’s absolutely nothing to be crabby about at Crabby Jerry’s.
Don’t be shellfish, and split a dozen oysters with your gal pals.
