You better come hungry, because guests can compete in a Pretzel Eating Contest on Friday, September 24th at 6 pm. If you’re not in a major food coma yet, you can indulge in a new Bratwurst Sandwich from Executive Chef Darryl Harmon to celebrate the occasion.
Carroll Place will celebrate your favorite holiday from Wednesday, September 29th through Sunday, October 3rd. On the 29th and 30th, the gastropub will host a Stein Holding Contest at 7 pm for a chance to win a $100 bar tab along with other prizes. Trust us, with the crazy week you’re having, you definitely could use some alcohol money. And then some. Festive beers including HB Oktoberfest and Five Boroughs Oktoberfest will be specially priced for the duration of the fest too. Carroll Place will also encourage patrons to dress for the occasion with a Most Authentically Dressed Competition happening nightly at 8 pm.
This Williamsburg establishment will celebrate Oktoberfest Monday, September 27th through Sunday, October 3rd—you’re in for the long haul here. Executive Chef John DeLucie will honor Italy's love of Oktoberfest, which is also formally done in Munich during what's called Festa d'ottobre. Ainslie will offer oversized Cacio e Pepe pretzels topped with Pecorino Romano cheese and fresh black pepper. Does it get any better than that? Don’t fret all you cheese fanatics, there will be an added cheesy dipping sauce on the sauce. Diners can also participate in Stein Holding Competition at 7 pm nightly, with a chance to win an intimate beer tasting in Ainslie’s private room.
