A new take on quilting fuels our obsession with all things Chanel. We dare you to stop at just one.
The Chanel archives are chock-full of signature motifs: tweeds, pearls, camellia flowers. But it is the supple quilted leather of the handbags that has become most synonymous with the iconic brand. Not surprisingly, it was amid the classic 2.55s and undeniably cool Boy bags that designers found inspiration for Chanel’s latest jewelry collection: Coco Crush.
The selection, which took more than two years to create, reimagines the quilted detailing in 18K white, yellow and pink gold.
Reflecting a significant price range, some pieces are low-key and quiet (stackable bands of varying widths), while others are statement-makers (think regal cuffs bathed in diamond pavé), and all are meant to be mixed and matched. Mix the thin yellow gold bracelets and add one or two of the white gold with diamond pieces for a chic and personal approach.
