WIE and Christofle co-host A Dinner For Ladies, The Secret Supper Club for High Powered Women

Men have long relied on having a strong network of peers and supporters to help them get ahead. Now women in the workplace are doing the same, but very much their own way.

Entrepreneur powerhouses Indre Rockefeller (Paravel) and Jocelyn Moore Gaillot (Tuckernuck) came together last week to host the 10th edition of A Dinner For Ladies, the secret supper club for high powered women. The dinner took place at Gaillot’s stunning TriBeCa loft and was co-sponsored by Cristofle and Kim Seybert.

A Dinner For Series was created by Dee Poku Spalding, the founder of women’s leadership platform, WIE. The dinners bring together C-Suite executives and seasoned founders for much valued conversation and connection. Each dinner is hosted in the home of a member or in a unique private dining room. Previous hosts include Rachelle Hruska McPherson (Lingua Franca), Robin Standefer (Roman and Williams) and Anne Fulenwider (Marie Claire).

Guests dined on a delicious four course meal prepared by female chef Tama Boettcher with each course paired with a different champagne from the Veuve Clicquot family.

The program included talks from an LVMH champagne specialist about the origins of the brand and its founder Madame Clicquot, as well as from Kim Seybert on the art of the table.

The bulk of the evening was reserved for a robust and passionate group conversation centered around the theme chosen by Gaillot and Rockefeller, “Taking Risk, Following Passion and Finding Good Enough.

Guests included Christofle CEO Bentley Hardwick; luxury home decor entrepreneur Kim Seybert; hair accessories designer Jennifer Behr, Knowsy founder Alisa Volkman, The Wonder founder Sarah Robinson and women’s advocate Cindy Gallop.
